Are you short on space but still need all the functionality and great design of larger bathroom spaces? Well you've come to the right place. We have designed hundreds of interesting and unique bathroom spaces and we know that the biggest struggle for our clients is how to maximize on the space, make it look beautiful and yet functional at the same time.

So, here are 8 Great Bathroom Ideas that Work
1. Lose the Tub
Bathtubs take up twice as much floor space than showers do. If this is an option for you, you'll end up creating a more spacious feel and significantly open up your small bathroom. If you do need that tub for bathing kids and pets, consider keeping a lower profile tub to give that feeling of space within the entire room
2. Frameless Tub and Shower Glass Panels
Not only are shower curtains a bit of a pain to keep clean, they tend to stick to you as your are bathing. Why not consider a glass panel which will not only give the illusion of a more open space, it will also let a more light into your tiny space and keep it feeling spacious and light.

3. Curbless Showers and Continual Flooring
We love the curbless shower! By making your floor continuous, leading right into the shower without any curb to obstruct, you will create the idea of more space and it's also easier to keep clean, looks more modern and is easy to install.
4. Floating Vanities
Wall mounted sinks and vanities are a great way to save floor space and make your bathroom appear larger while still being fully functional with storage space.
5. Wall Mounted Shelving
While floor space may be at a minimum in smaller bathroom spaces, you don't have to sacrifice on storage. Consider mounting shelving and cabinets over your toilet to keep all things neatly stored and hidden.
6. Pocket Doors or Sliding Doors
If at all possible, consider installing a pocket door instead of the more traditional door - this will save significantly on space and you can achieve a more modern look.
7. Use Contrast to Keep the Space Light
Consider using a darker floor tile with lighter coloured walls. This will give the illusion of a more spacious bathroom than you actually have and looks great too!
8. Add an Accent Wall
Adding an accent wall is a great way to add some colour and interest to a small space without overwhelming the room. You can do this with paint or a different coloured tile to add a different pattern and give the room a focused interest.
